Introduction to Fractal Landscapes

The following images were all mathematically generated. No two leaves are likely to be exactly alike. There are random color variations along with random changes to the transformation matrix which determines the shape of the leaf and random adjustments to the size and position of each leaf. Although these images are probably not useful in their current form, they demonstrate how fractals can be used to generate elements that can be combined to form realistic landscapes. Except for the last image, which contains 20 leaves, each of these images was generated with 10 leaves.
